Shawn Johnson Childhood, Early Life, and the Career

Shawn Johnson is a former American gymnast who took home the gold medal in the balance beam at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Shawn Johnson is reported to have a relationship with Andrew East (a Vanderbilt University football player). She was the 2009 winner of the reality show 'Dancing With The Stars'. Shawn Johnson, a former American gymnast, took home the balance beam medal at Beijing's 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2009, she was the winning contestant on 'Dancing with the Stars.' Furthermore, talking about her education, she went to Valley High School in West Des Moines. However, after quitting the public school in the year 2009, she relocated to Los Angeles, California along with her mother. She also graduated with an undergraduate education in nutrition and sports psychology at Vanderbilt University, Nashville. Johnson was married to Andrew East, a professional football player. In October 2017, the two released a heartbreaking YouTube video in which the former gymnast. A life-size bronze statue has been dedicated to this distinguished gymnast at the Iowa Hall of Pride in Des Moines.
