9lokkNine released his first mixtape, Kold Face Kold Case with 9 tracks on January 2, 2018. He released his second mixtape, Bloodshells Revenge with 18 tracks on April 17, 2018. 9lokkNine's music video "I don't need no help" was released on May 8, 2018. On July 23, 2018 9lokkNine released his 17 track mixtape, Loyalty Kill Love. He signed with Republic Records and Cash Money Records on the 3rd of August 2018. The press release said that the contract was valued at $2,000,000. On December 19, 2018 9lokkNine dropped the 11-track mixtape, Lil Glokk that Stole Khristmas. 9lokkNine's first single, "Party Pooper", was released in April 2019. 9lokkNine was featured on the YNW Melly track titled "223's", but he originally released it as a part his December 2018 mixtape entitled Lil Glokk That Stole Kristmas. The track was a sensation after it was rediscovered through an application called "TikTok" where a wide artists and creators jumped up and down to the catchy track. 9lokkNine was a performer at the 2018 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, Florida, sharing the stage with rappers including Lil Pump, J. Cole and Travis Scott. 9lokkNine was charged with multiple crimes, including having weapons concealed by an incarcerated delinquent and grand theft of the third degree and having less than 20 grams of marijuana.
