She is also a producer and writer. Sanchez is well-known for her roles in the roles of Elena Delgado on the CBS police procedural show, Without a Trace, and Carmen Luna on the Lifetime comedy-drama series Devious Maids. She also appeared on Rush Hour 2, Boat Trip and The Game Plan. Roselyn Sanchez was born on 2 April 1973. Her birth name is Roselyn Milagros Sanchez Rodriguez. Her birthplace is San Juan in Puerto Rico. She is a Puerto Rican citizen. She was the daughter of Efrain Sanchez and Olga Rodriguez, her father. She is the eldest of three siblings. She is of Hispanic ethnicity and her faith is Christianity. Her zodiac sign is Aries. Her education background is that she studied at the University of Puerto Rico. But she left the university after three years. Sanchez discovered a love for performing and dancing at a young age. When she was 18, she moved to New York City to study acting. She was enrolled in acting, dancing, and singing classes. In 1992 she came back to Puerto Rico. She made her film debut in the 1992 movie, Captain Ron. She had a small role as an island girl in the film.
