Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. Georgia born, he began his musical career in hip-hop through Playaz Circle, which he created with a high school friend. The group's debut album, 'Supply and Demand It was a mixed success. Epps released the album 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was an enormous hit and debuted at the top spot on the US Billboard 200. It was a huge success, selling 147,000 copies in the first week! Following the release of the album, he has not been looking back and has now become one of the top hip-hop artists in the US. He has been shortlisted for six Grammy awards so far and has won one, for his track 'No Problem'. After his bag containing marijuana and promethazine was discovered in his bag on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, the singer was detained. His brushes with the law didn't affect his popularity. The fourth and newest album of studio work, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was came out in June of 2017. "Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz's first studio album is his first major release and also his biggest commercially successful. The album was a great success. It climbed to the top of the US Billboard 200 and sold 147,000 copies in less than a week. The album was sold out to 623,000 over a year. The album was a hit with songs such as "No Lie The Birthday Song', 'No Lie and I'm Different. It was also nominated for  the 'Best Rap Album' award at the 55th Grammy Awards. There were mixed reviews. 2 Chainz wed Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple is proud parents to three kids Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He has had a long and prosperous career, but is known for his inclination to get into legal trouble. He was arrested numerous times for possession of drugs.
