Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish is an Australian performer and rapper. She began modeling at the age of 13 and landed her first role when she was 15 years old. Film and TV shows were soon followed. Cornish is best known for her performances in historical films 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age,' the courtier Bess Tharockmorton and the heroin addict in Candy. She was also in the role of Lindy in the sci fi thriller 'Limitless', and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic "Bright Star. She is also well-known for her appearances on the TV show 'Outriders' and 'Marking Times. As a rapper and singer, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk'. Born in New South Wales and raised alongside three brothers and one sister, she enjoyed an average childhood until her parents separated when she was 16. Abbie is an extremely strong woman who managed to get over the difficult divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty is a talented pianist and guitarist, but she loves acting more than anything else. Cornish is a vegan who supports animal rights. She also contributes to animal rights groups periodically. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. Abbie Cornish is the second of five children of Barry and Shelley Cornish. She is the older sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. When it comes to the actress' love life, she was once in a relationship with actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated between 2006 and the year 2010.
