Mila Kunis Bio

Mila Kunis was baptized Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) on August 14, 1983. Kunis, seven years old immigrated to the United States along with her parents Elvira and Mark Kunis. She ended up settling in Los Angeles. The Kunis family only had $250 in their account when they arrived in their new country. Kunis' parents gave up their careers to relocate and were determined to give their children a better future. Mark who was a mechanical engineer, found work as an Uber driver. Elvira had previously taught physics in Ukraine and eventually owned the pharmacy. Kunis said that he did not fully understand American cultural norms when he first came to America. "I didn't understand the people. I didn't know the language. My essay to get in college began with this sentence: "Imagine being blinded and deaf at 7 years old." It was very similar feeling to being a newcomer to the States. It was difficult to remember. Milena Markovna Kunis was daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. She was born on the 14th of August, 1983. She is the older sister to her older brother. Her mother works as an Physics teacher and her father owns an pharmacy. His father is mechanical engineers by profession. Her family moved to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary School is where she went to school. At nine years old she began learning to act. After auditioning for few commercials, she made her television debut in 1994 on 'Days of our Lives. She also starred as a child actor in the  show 'Honey We Shrunk Ourself and 'Santa with Muscles,' and the Angelina Jolie movie, Gia. In 1998, she was offered her first major role as 'Jackie Burkhart' in the hit sitcom "That '70s" show'.After the acclaim about her performance in the role of 'Jackie' she was cast in the role of 'Meg Griffin' in the animated sitcom "Family Guy".
