Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18, 1982. Chopra was in high school when she was crowned Miss India. She then was crowned the 2000 Miss World pageant. Following her international success, Chopra decided to pursue the world of film and became an established star in Bollywood. Chopra made waves on American television through the FBI drama Quantico, which aired between 2015 and 2018 and made headlines due to her marriage to actor and singer Nick Jonas in December 2018. In 2003, she was in her first Bollywood film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Also, she was in Andaaz the same year, which debuted several films, including Plan, Kismat and Asambhav. Though most of them didn't make the cut at the box office, Chopra's romantic comedic Mujhse Karogi was a big hit. Chopra was just 20 when she made her debut in film with Thamizhan and was back the following year with Jeet born to Win. Chopra stated that her debut was an experience that was not pleasant. "I wanted to quit the field after I did it! I was not sure of what I was talking about or doing." The actor and the actress Nick Jonas went public with their romance in the summer of 2018. The news of their engagement was announced in July. According to reports, Jonas proposed to Chopra on Chopra's 36th birthday. They were married in an extravagant celebration that began on December 1, 2018.
