Riley Keough
American actor
Danielle Riley Keough. Her birthplace was in Santa Monica to Danny Keough and
Lisa Marie Presley. She is the daughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and singer.
Keough was raised in Hawaii by her father and in Los Angeles by her mother. She
also lived in California and Tennessee with her mother. When she was 15, she
began modeling, which included appearances at fashion shows for Dolce &
Gabbana and Christian Dior as well as being featured on the cover of Vogue. Keough
made her feature film debut at age 20, appearing in a minor role in the musical
biopic The Runaways (2010), as Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor (2011) her
role was in Jack & Diane (2012). After that, she was cast as Magic Mike
(2012), a minor part in Steven Soderbergh's comedy Magic Mike (2012). In 2012,
Keough appeared in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned. In the following year, she
was in the action film Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). It was the fourth movie of
the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law
student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The
Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009
film of the same name. Her performance was praised by critics for her performance
and earned an Golden Globe Award nomination for the best performance by an
actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Keough's
performance as a lonely young girl in American Honey (2017) garnered the
actress even more praise and an Independent Spirit Award nomination. The same
year, Keough was in the apocalyptic horror film It Comes at Night (2017) and
was reunited with Soderbergh to play a role in his heist movie, Logan Lucky.
The actress then appeared in a number of horror and thriller films in the year
2018, including Lars Von Trier's The House That Jack Built as well as the
neo-noir Under the Silver Lake, and Hold the Dark. Keough was the lead in The
Lodge, a psychological horror movie. Zola is Keough's comedy-drama sequel.
Keough plays the role of Sandy Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All
the Time.
