Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on November 25, 1968 is a Canadian actor from Canada. She is most famous for her performances in the American television shows Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted, and the independent film Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class which is the latter of which she wrote and co-directed. Hennessy was brought up in Edmonton, Alberta. Her father, John Hennessy, was a meat salesman and sales/marketing executive. It was a job that required considerable travel and led to frequent relocations for the family. Maxine was her mother. She was secretary. Her daughter was taken away by Eleanor Her paternal grandmother from Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a journalist from Canada and host. Hennessy is a mixture of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian origins on her father's side as well as most Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy and her sister made their acting debut playing twins in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress who was ultimately chosen for the role, said she was selected to play Dana Scully in The X-Files. She played this role for three seasons, before being removed from the show as an actor in the year 1996.
