Mary-Louise Parker
Mary-Louise Parker, born August 2 1964 is an American actress. Following her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss, in 1990, Parker was nominated for an Tony Award for the role of Rita. In the NBC television series The West Wing she starred as Amy Gardner, and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sustained actress in the Drama Series. As part of her performance as Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she was awarded an Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also received a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2007, Parker received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and Red. (2013) and Red 2 (2012). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019, and she was in The Sound Inside. This show won her her third Tony Award for Best Actress. Parker has written articles for Esquire magazine since 2007. She also published Dear Mr. You in 2015. The show was a starring role for Roma Guy in the ABC miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. She worked as a political advisor in the Showtime show Billions in 2018.
