Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow was born December 18th, 1979. She is most famous for her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara the Darkness. She is also known for her character as The Armorer in the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also involved in the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born in Washington, D.C. on December 18, 1979. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow started acting in Stanton College Preparatory School. Additionally, she was a part of amateur and professional theatre productions. Swallow graduated from the Stanton College Preparatory school in the city of Jacksonville, in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. She continued to study to earn an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her movie debut in The Lucky Ones, a military drama. She was in two world premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's play Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] She won the Falstaff Award for best Female Performer in 2010 for her portrayal of Kate in the film The Taming Of the Shrew.In 2012, Swallow and fellow singer/comedian Jac Huberman created an original stage show titled Jac N Swallow that they staged in New York at the Laurie Beeckman Theater and Joe's Pub. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps as they confront different life situations.
