Los Angeles, California in 1970. After the birth of her daughter, her parents
moved to Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for
the Performing and Visual Arts located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas.
She received her BFA in acting from Stephens College, and also went to the
British American Drama Academy. She also spent six years with the Dallas Theatre
Center, and one year with the Encore Company. Prior to her big screen debut,
she started her acting career in theaters. Her credits on stage include
"As You Like It""A Funny Then It Happened on the Way to the
Forum" "Measure for Measure", and "Chicago", as well
as other productions. She stood out in Michael Cristofer's HBO television
series Gia (1998), where she played opposite Angelina Jolie. This performance
earned her the respect of viewers and critics alike. After that, she starred in
the sci-fi time travel adventure Frequency (2000) with Dennis Quaid and Neil
LaBute's eagerly anticipated Nurse Betty (2000) opposite Renee Zellweger,
Elizabeth showed her charismatic acting skills. Elizabeth Mitchell has many
credits in television shows, theaters and films. She has continued to be a
great actor. During the filming of Frequency ((2000)), she injured her nose. In
1994, did Hertz Rent-A-Car commercial but "they pulled it due to the O.J.
thing." In 1995, I lived with boyfriend David Lee Smith (ex-Brent on the
soap One Life to Live (1968)) in Manhattan's Upper West Side. Parents are real
estate and tax attorneys in their own firm located five blocks from their home
in Dallas. After a lengthy run in the theater as Rosalind, she returned to the
U.S. after having been in Europe for a few months. She was born in Los Angeles
in 1970. Her parents moved to Dallas in Texas. She graduated in 1991 from
Booker T. Washington High School, Visual and Performing Arts situated within
the Arts District of Dallas. The school graduated Stephens College in 1991 with
the Fine Arts Degree. The actor was in Man and Boy (2002) along with Ioan
Gruffudd. The show aired on BBC 1 TV in March 2002.
